Overview
Our client is looking for a SharePoint Administrator/Developer who gets excited about the prospect of being part of a mission-focused, collaborative program team and interested in helping client organizations determine and execute IT strategy and goals. If this sounds exciting, we would like to hear from you.
Working within the Enterprise SharePoint team, the ideal candidate would have the opportunity to lead the development of mission-focused sites and applications and be a part of an effort to plan and perform a migration from SharePoint 2010 directly to SharePoint 2016 (On-premises and Cloud / SharePoint Online / Office 365).
In this role, you can expect to work independently and with the larger team, put your analytical and creative thinking to use finding innovative solutions to complex customer problems and use best practices to optimize and improve existing solutions utilized by the entire agency.
Responsibilities
- Integrating applications with SharePoint using MS InfoPath, and SharePoint Designer
- Developing and maintaining applications using .Net and SQL Server
- Troubleshooting existing operational applications and resolving issues
- Gathering and documenting use cases and requirements and maintain logs
- SharePoint Administrator support for team
- Support migration of on-premises hosted to intranet/extranet
- Management of existing documentation repositories into new SharePoint
- Developing SharePoint workflows using SharePoint Designer
- Converting Nintex workflows
- Troubleshoot issues with certificates on SharePoint internal DEV, TEST and PROD environments
- Troubleshoot migration issues to find solutions
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- At least 5 years’ experience with SharePoint application development, including developing solutions using custom development with JavaScript, JQUERY, AJAX, JSON, Angular JS, Knockout, Bootstrap, etc.
- Experience supporting a hybrid SharePoint environment
- Experience migrating SharePoint 2010 directly to SharePoint 2016
- Minimum of 3 years’ development experience with multiple SharePoint versions including SharePoint 2010, 2013 and Office 365
- Experience migrating at least one site collection to a newer SharePoint version
- Minimum of 3 years of experience using HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, etc. to develop front end SharePoint solutions and enhance site UI
- At least 2 years of soup to nuts custom development experience using .Net and SQL Server
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT field or equivalent experience or Microsoft Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications such as MCSD, MCTS, MCPD, MCSE, MCSA
